Mainstream Courses
This includes two year courses accompanied with computer, entrepreneurship skills, and mathematics to trainees to compete favorably in the labor market. They include the following:
1. Catering
Trainees are taught preparation and presentation of different dishes especially European and local dishes, house keeping, food hygiene, nutrition & front office operations. We also carry out field training i.e. when we get off site catering services; this exposes them to the real world of work , builds their self esteem and confidence. Trainees are given a small token every time we have field training, depending on the size of the business, to motivate them.
By the time trainees leave the school, they are capable of running their own small businesses and be self reliant. Others get employment with catering establishments especially hotels, and they have always proved to be hard working and self driven. This has made our flag to fly high in most hotels in and around Kampala city. If you happen to visit any hotels in that locality, you cannot miss getting workers who trained with us. Great thanks to the catering instructors for the good work they are doing.
