COWA Centenary Vocational Training School (COWA CVTS) is one of the Programmes of Companionship of Works Association (COWA).

COWA CVTS was founded in 1992 by a Catholic Priest belonging to the Missionary of Africa. It was founded to address the needs of the HIV / AIDS orphans. Today, however, the School is open to take in all orphans regardless of the nature of their parents’ deaths as well as other vulnerable youth in need of our services.

To bring out mature and fully empowered young women and young men who have the capacity to drive this nation to the heights of sustainable development with their skills and integrity.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to ensure the integral development of the vulnerable youth in Uganda through vocational/life skills training.

Our Objectives

·         Empowerment of the vulnerable youth with skills for self reliance.

·         Creating awareness about their values and worth, hence enabling them to build self confidence and self esteem.

·         Helping the graduates start and manage their own small scale enterprises.
